Experimental possibilities - or directed randomness

My works are created in dialogue with experimentally induced processes.
I encounter these rather experimentally created situations with a conscious artistic development, whether in the abstract-expressive form or figurative (portrait series).

I experiment with many different materials and textures.
The fascinating medium of paper as a structure in all its variations and in conjunction with wax, rust and various structural flours has become indispensable in my work.
In addition, inks, moor mud, staining, construction materials, hemp fibres and pigments are used in pure form or as acrylic and oil paint, often based on an ancient recipe.

My creative method could be described as "directed randomness".
My great interest in subjects ranging from philosophy, classical mythology and especially nature and its laws (currently with focus on bionics) is clearly depicted in my work.
